CLASS SCHEDULE

Hybrid classes available. In-Person classes require registration. For Virtual classes, email Melanie for zoom link.

Please see individual classes for virtual, in-person, or hybrid options. Registration is required for all in-person classes. We have limited space for in person classes to provide the safest environment during the pandemic. If you are fully vaccinated and would like to attend in person, please email me

If you have lost your job and cannot pay or need a sliding scale fee, please contact Melanie, and let her know. Everyone deserves to practice.


Monday

8:00 am - 8:30 am

10:30 am - noon

Ashtanga Half Primary (hybrid)

Ashtanga Yoga is a vigorous flow style of yoga, linking breath with movement. It is designed to strengthen, align and purify the entire body and mind. All levels of practitioners are welcome to attend.

Tuesday

6:00 am - 8:00 am *

Mysore (in person only)

* Doors open at 5:45 am; instruction begins at 6:00 am, followed by opening chant. It is ok to arrive after the chant.

In the Mysore Style class, each student receives individual attention and is guided at their own pace, depending on how much of the practice they have committed to memory. When the teacher feels the student is ready, the teacher will add additional poses for the student, slowly, over time. This allows the student time for integration of the poses and to commit them to memory. Once the postures are memorized, the movements become smoother and the breath comes more stable. This creates a meditative experience. New students will be taught slowly, pose by pose, over time. The Mysore room is a calm and peaceful place for self-study with the guidance of a teacher.
 

9:30 am - 10:50 am

Ashtanga Foundation Series (hybrid)

Class/workshop series, pre-registration required

This workshop is designed for students wanting to learn the foundation of the Ashtanga System. Students will use a beginner's mind to learn this traditional yoga system, from the lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Krishnamacharya. There will be a few weeks when zoom will be the only option due to my travel schedule. The class will go through November 14; there will be one week off, TBD.
Winter 2024 Session: $225, from January 9 to March 26, 2024 (12 classes)

Wednesday

9:15 am - 10:45 am

Ashtanga Full Primary (hybrid)

The Ashtanga Led Primary class is for students with prior Ashtanga experience. It will include all poses in the primary series and will be taught in a continuous manner without stopping.

Thursday

10:00 am - 11:00 am

Yoga Slow Flow + Stretch (virtual only)

Treat yourself to a yoga class with slow flow and yummy stretches that work on all parts of the body. This class is a great complement to your day and life. You will love it.

Friday

9:00 am - 11:00 am

Mysore Style (in person only)
